HCA seeks area manager replacement

The Homes & Communities Agency is recruiting a new head of Lancashire and Cumbria after an internal reshuffle left the post vacant.

Former area boss Diane Walton moved to run the Merseyside and Cheshire department when Eliot Ward went to Preston Vision as chief executive earlier this year.

The post is advertised in the national Press with a salary of £71,050 to £91,350 and is based in the organisation's office in One Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester. Duncan Inglis, an external consultant, is filling the post on an interim basis.

Two other posts are being advertised for the Manchester office: team leader with a pay range of £50,750 to £71,050 and investment and regeneration manager on between £30,450 and £50,750.

HCA jobs come with final salary pension, 33 days holiday, relocation incentive and performance-related pay. The HCA has offices in Birchwood and Manchester.
