Gym start-up signs with Langtree

Langtree Group has let a 4,700 sq ft gym at Gateway 49 Trade Park in Kerfoot Street, Warrington for five years to Bodyactive.

Bodyactive, an existing tenant at the park, sells sports supplements and equipment, and has opened Primal Gym, a specialised strengthening and conditioning fitness centre. The new gym offers a range of training equipment including specialised strength training machines, industrial tyres for flipping and a large artificial indoor grass section designed for weighted sleds and sprint work.

Paul O'Brien, co-owner of Primal Gym, said: "We decided to open Primal Gym as there are many people in the area, including local rugby teams, who wanted a training centre which offered more than the conventional equipment used by commercial gyms. Usually centres such as this are reserved for athletes but we are pleased to be able to offer this level of equipment and training to the public.

"The Gateway 49 Trade Park provided the perfect facility and location for what we needed, and as we already had space there, the expansion was straightforward."
