Gulliver’s World adds hotel to attraction

Gulliver's Theme Parks today officially opened its £3.75m 56-room hotel alongside Gulliver's World Warrington.

The hotel in Old Hall was designed by Birchwood Park-based architecture practice DV8 Designs and built by Barry Wood Building Contractor.

The 27,000 sq ft hotel has two meeting rooms, free parking and is set apart from the theme park next to Sankey Valley Park.

The new venue was opened by Steve Broomhead, interim chief executive of Warrington council.

All very well, but Gullivers World itself is tired, dated, shabby and badly maintained. It floods regularly and half the park closes. Splashzone is just rusting away. Don’t expect many repeat visits.
