Greater Manchester names landscape framework

Seven businesses have been selected to deliver landscaping services for all ten Greater Manchester local authorities over the next two years.

The £20m framework also covers landscaping services for Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue, Greater Manchester Police and Transport for Greater Manchester, along with Cheshire East and Warrington Councils and Salford Community Leisure.

Sixteen tenders were submitted, with the successful bidders including Rochdale-based Casey Group, which has previously won work at NOMA; Horticon of Wilmslow; Groundwork Landscapes of Bury and Burnley-based Landscaping Engineering.

The French-owned Landscape Group Idverde, which delivered landscaping at MediaCityUK, is also on the list, along with Kearsley’s Bethell Group and social enterprise Newground CIC, based in Blackburn.
