Gigabit internet speeds online in Salford

Internet provider Hyperoptic has switched on fibre-to-the-home services in Sovereign Point and Imperial Point in Salford Quays, with gigabit broadband now available to residents.

According to Hyperoptic, the 1,000Mbps installation is the first of its kind to be made available to consumers in the region.

The service ensures that there is a consistent internet connection and speed regardless of the time of day, devices connected or who else is online.

With around a further 40 developments currently undergoing installation, Hyperoptic said it is committed to extending its footprint across Greater Manchester and ensuring residents in flats and apartment blocks across the city have access to the latest in fibre connectivity.

The Emerson Group manages Sovereign Point and Imperial Point.
