Fruit machine firm agrees deal with Northern Trust

Whittle Jones, agents acting on behalf of landlord Northern Trust, have let 20,600 sq ft to Crown Direct on Martland Park, Wigan.

Crown Direct, a distributor of coin-operated gaming and amusement products, signed a five-year lease on the unit in Hillridge Road.

Dean Harding, managing director of Crown Direct, said: "Our new premises are situated in an ideal location within the established Martland Park Industrial Estate in Wigan. Our decision to relocate was simple, and the Whittle Jones team helped to make our move effortless."

John Marrow, regional property manager of Whittle Jones, said: "We are delighted that Crown Direct chose Martland Park as their location to relocate. The Northern Trust-owned part of the estate is now home to six companies and we are hopeful we will be able to announce further lettings in the near future."

Whittle Jones can offer a range of units at Martland Park with sizes ranging from 7,307 sq ft up at Croftwood Square up to a standalone unit of 23,600 sq ft. Martland Park is home to a number of national operators including Heinz and JJB Sports.

Whittle Jones is joint agent along with Nolan Redshaw and Jones Lang LaSalle.
