Faber Maunsell joins Bruntwood pre-lets on New York Street

Engineering consultancy Faber Maunsell will occupy 17,160 sq ft across two floors at Bruntwood's 1 New York Street when the building completes in September 2009.

Bruntwood also confirmed pre-lets of two floors at The Exchange to Turning Point, 10,380 sq ft, and The Design Planning Partnership, 5,560 sq ft.

Peter Crowther, development director of Bruntwood, said: "These latest pre-lets mean we've now located 11 new customers to New York Street in the past 12 months; a total of 76,700 sq ft. Even though 1 New York Street is still 15 months from completion and work at The Exchange has just finished, interest in the remaining 118,000 sq ft available at both buildings remains strong. Consequently, the street's developing into a thriving business community as our public realm and building work continues to attract high quality occupiers."

The Exchange is now ready to occupy for Turning Point and The Design Planning Partnership, but Faber Maunsell will move into 1 New York Street when the building completes in September 2009. In the meantime, the company is taking space at Bruntwood's Lowry House.

DTZ and WHR are agents on 1 New York Street; DTZ and Edwards & Co on The Exchange.
