Ex-Liverpool One boss Jennings launches consultancy

Joanne Jennings, the first chief executive of Grosvenor’s £1bn city centre regeneration project, has set up a business called Insight Consulting based in Liverpool.

Jennings, a management conultant with Deloitte in the 1990s before running Belfast City Centre Management Company and then Liverpool One, said she will advise at a “senior level on urban regeneration, strategic and business planning, destination marketing and management.” Jennings has taken an office at Your Space’s Il Palazzo on Water Street.

She left Grosvenor in January 2009 after nearly two years. In her place, Grosvenor created a new position of estates director, occupied by Chris Bliss, promoted from facilities manager.

Jennings, speaking briefly from a holiday in Austria this week, said she had won her first contracts and that further details would be released soon.

One of her first assignments is to undertake a feasibility study for an international tourism brand interested in locating in Liverpool.
