Edwards & Co adds to building consultancy team

Charlie Powell has joined Edwards & Co from Avison Young in its building consultancy team, working with director Alec Williams in Manchester.

Powell has joined the team this week and is the second hire by Edwards & Co from Avison Young in recent months, after adding Oliver Woodall as a surveyor in its office agency department.

The company started its building consultancy team last year with Alec Williams as director, and has acted on behalf of a number of different clients including Royal London, Bizspace, and Paloma Capital.

Commenting on the appointment, Williams said: On the back of a strong first year, we were keen to find the right person who would allow us to grow our building consultancy team. Charlie’s skills and competence will enhance our offering and our clients will no doubt see the benefits he will bring very shortly.”

Powell added: “I am delighted to be joining the team at this exciting time of expansion and growth. I look forward to working with existing clients on a variety of projects which are currently in the pipeline, and to growing our client portfolio in the future.”
