Eastlands’ renewal work rolls on

Manchester housing association Eastlands Homes is to spend £8m on external refurbishment of three tower blocks.

Eastland, formed in 2003, owns and manages 8,000 homes in the east of the city transferred from local authority control in 2009.

The work is part of Eastlands ongoing £100m investment programme which aims to bring all its properties up to modern standards by 2014.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 20 September.
