Design firm appointed at Warner shopping centres

Property investor Warner Estates has appointed Manchester-based design agency Pixel8 to provide a range of marketing services for five of its North West shopping centres.

Pixel8 will manage print design, web development, promotions, event management, PR and advertising design at Market Place in Bolton, Fishergate in Preston, Middleton in north Manchester and The Grange and Pyramids in Birkenhead. The agency will report to Jennifer Morris, group marketing manager, Warner Estate Holdings.

Jamie Watson, joint managing director of Pixel8, said: "Given the tough environment, it's an exciting time to get involved. There's lots of uncertainty given the increase in VAT from January and the change of government, but we relish the challenge and look forward to driving both footfall and spend in the centres.

"We are looking forward to bringing a new creativity and focus to the centres' marketing strategy in the run up the Christmas period."
