David Currie recruits Knight Frank agent

Karl Kiernan, formerly an industrial surveyor at Knight Frank in Liverpool, has joined David Currie & Co.

Kiernan was one of three surveyors made redundant by Knight Frank across Liverpool and Manchester in September as part of a cost cutting programme.

Liverpool-based David Currie & Co specialises in the disposal of residential investments on behalf of insolvency practices. Kiernan will also handle the firm's general agency work in industrial, office, retail, development and investment.

Kiernan said: "In the current market there will be a continual rise in the number of distressed sales and I am looking forward to the challenge within a practice specialising in such a discipline. I am also aiming to increase the workload in traditional occupational agency sectors."
