Cheshire West & Chester Council has put the entirety of its 55,000 sq ft office in the Chester HQ building on the market, appointing Legat Owen to find occupiers at £19.50/sq ft.
The announcement follows on from the news that the council is to relocate its operations to other corporate buildings across the borough, which it has said includes maintaining a presence in Chester, keeping offices in Nicholas House and Goldsmith House.
Located at 58 Nicholas Street overlooking Chester Racecourse, the scheme was developed by Liberty Properties in 2008 before CWAC moved into the building eight years ago.
The doughnut-shaped mixed-use development is split into section, made up of apartments, hotel, restaurants and the offices.
CWAC let 7,000 sq ft to Chester Racecourse earlier this year.
