Cushwake job losses hit Manchester office

Cushman & Wakefield is consulting staff in several departments over redundancy at it Manchester office.

Those affected are understood to include Andrew Hynes, a retail agency associate, Chris Brown, office surveyor, and Rob Woods, the last of the investment team which will effectively close.

The company closed its Manchester valuations team in October. The Manchester office will be left with around 20 staff, based at 26 Spring Gardens. The national agency opened in the city in 2005.

Cushman & Wakefield is making 80 staff redundant across the UK business in the coming weeks.
