Cowell appointed at OBI

Former Birchwood Park commercial director Andrew Cowell has joined OBI Property in Manchester, to work alongside Will Lewis, Richard Lace and Emma Powell in the transactions and asset management team.

Cowell has been appointed to head up asset management, while Richard Lace will lead on leasings. Lewis and Cowell will be responsible for investment transactions, and Powell works across all aspects.

OBI Property is divided into three teams; asset management and transactions; building consultancy headed up by Dominic Horridge and workplace consultancy led by James Scott. Keran Lewis advises clients on rating.

Cowell joined Birchwood Park in 2013 from a role as head of sales at Bruntwood.

Richard Lace, associate director of OBI Property said: "We have recently been awarded a number of asset management positions and Andrew's skill set and experience in both leasing and asset management will really strengthen our offer. We enjoyed a strong 2014 and have started this year really well. This appointment is a really positive move for the firm and our clients."

OBI Property was set up in 2010 and is a commercial real estate firm.
