Council sticks with Arcus

Arcus Consulting has been reappointed by Halton Council to a three-year contract with an estimated value of £1m to provide architectural, planning and engineering services.

Arcus, which has offices in Liverpool and Manchester, was already working with the council before the new contract was put out to tender.

The work will include advising on refurbishment of council properties including housing, offices and community buildings.

The initial contract period is three years with the option to extend this for up to two further periods of 12 months each.

The £1m budget is an estimate based on past work.

The contract was advertised through the Chest procurement system.
