Colliers International sells Lakeland Pedlar

The Lakeland Pedlar Cafe in Keswick has been sold by the North West office of real estate advisors Colliers International for an undisclosed sum.

The business has been acquired by Paul Maxwell and Angela French, who also own the Babbling Brook Guest House in Keswick, from Maggie Doron, who is retiring from catering.

Haydn Spedding, associate director in the specialist hotels team at the North West office of Colliers International, Manchester, achieved the sale on behalf of Ms Doron.

He said there was potential to expand the cafe on to the first floor on the building vacated recently by Keswick Bikes.

Spedding is also marketing Café Pumpkin – a similar business available on lease in Lake Road, Keswick.
