Christie Hospital refreshes framework

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is to create a broad new framework of consultants across 14 lots from architecture to engineering.

The three-year roster will be used for a mixture of capital projects and ongoing estates management and facilities maintenance.

No value was given for the works proposed. Recent projects include a £28.5m cancer research centre designed by Wilson Mason & Partners, due to open in 2014, and the New Patient Treatment Centre by AFL Architects.

The separate lots firms can bid for are:

  • Project management services
  • Civil and structural engineering services
  • Architectural services
  • Cost advisor services
  • Mechanical and electrical engineering services
  • CDM co-ordinator services
  • BREEAM for capital projects

The contracts are divided further into lots for capital or estates work.

The tender is being run through an online portal https://wellstatecommercial.bravosolution.co.uk

The deadline for expressions of interest is 30 July.
