Cheshire housing scheme gets go-ahead

Cheshire West & Chester Council has granted planning permission for a new residential development in Davenham.

Manchester-based HOW Planning secured the approval for 36 family homes, on land off Green Lane, on behalf of Bloor Homes and Pochin Property.

The development will be built by Bloor Homes on a 3.03 acre site located on the Northern edge of Davenham.

The developer said the layout has been designed to ensure the new dwellings are in keeping with the character and appearance of the local area.

Jon Suckley, associate at HOW Planning, said: "Davenham has been identified as an area for development within the borough. Pochin Property and Bloor Homes have a vision to create an extremely high quality development which will complement the existing surroundings and enhance the local community and both are confident that there will be a high level of interest from potential home owners."

The scheme will comprise a mix of different house types and sizes include single and two story properties.
