Cheap housing dominates Sutton Kersh catalogue
Sutton Kersh's next auction will offer 78 lots for sale, mostly residential properties, on 12 July.
The catalogue includes 35 low-priced vacant residential properties and 25 better quality residential investment opportunities.
The sale will be filmed by BBC television series Homes Under the Hammer at the Marriott Hotel, Queen Square, Liverpool.
Cathy Holt, auction manager at Sutton Kersh, said a portfolio of four city centre apartments available for individual purchase has attracted a good level of interest before the sale.
Two one-bedroom apartments at 73 Wood Street are guided at £45,000 to 50,000. Another two, two-bed apartments at 70a Bold Street produce a rental income £6,600 a year and are guided at £55,000.
Holt added: "It is another large catalogue with a lot of very cheap deals up for grabs. Interest has been high pre-auction with lots of viewings being booked and offers received. With the rental market continuing to perform strongly, I am confident that the residential investments will sell well, particularly those in the city centre where there is a shortage of quality rental properties. We are delighted to have Homes Under the Hammer in attendance. We have appeared on the show a number of times before and it is a great way to raise our company profile nationally."
