Changes to team at Emery Planning

Emery Planning has reported a series of promotions and appointments at its Macclesfield office.

Stephen Harris, who joined Emery in 2004, moved from associate director to director and John Coxon from senior consultant to principal consultant.

Teresa Cook joined as a principal consultant from Co-operative Estates; Paul Forshaw as an assistant consultant from BNP Paribas, both appointed in November. Shaun Gaffey was appointed as an assistant consultant from Manchester University.

Alison Freeman, director, said "These promotions recognise Stephen and John's achievements, skills and commitment to the company. Stephen has recently achieved consent for some 800 houses at Lowton, Wigan and Preston after planning applications following submissions to and attendance at the respective core strategy examinations. John has successfully represented clients at a number of core strategy and local plan examinations, including Wigan and Wiltshire and has secured planning consent on a number of major housing schemes."

Emery Planning now employs 17 consultants.
