Bosses reshuffle at Yorkshire Bank

Ian Spink, manager of the Yorkshire Bank office in Liverpool, an active lender to property customers, is to take up a new role within the bank.

Spink declined to comment on the move but a spokesman for Yorkshire Bank said in a statement: "Following seven successful years managing our financial solutions centre in Liverpool, Ian Spink has now moved into a new role within the bank. Ian's new position will see him working for Brian Colquhoun, the regional director in the west of England [which includes the North West]."

Sean Williams, who currently manages the Preston financial solutions centre, will take responsibility for both Liverpool and Preston.

Yorkshire Bank is part of the National Australia Group, which leaves 2009 behind in a stronger position than many of its rivals.

Spink will still be based in the North West
