Boi Trading buys distribution facility in Salford

Whitbread Group has sold its 120,000 sq ft distribution facility at Ordsall Riverside in Salford to clothing supplier Boi Trading.

The facility was closed in 2006 and Whitbread subsequently outsourced its logistics operation to Kuehne and Nagel, which operate from a new facility in Wellingborough.

The sale price was not disclosed but if Boi Trading sells the property on within the first 15 years it would have to pay Whitbread a proportion of any profits made.

Scott Frazer advised Boi Trading, which is based on Bury New Road in Manchester.
