Bluemantle signs cosmetic surgery in Cheadle

Developer Bluemantle has secured a new occupier for its office building the Cheadle Institute.

The Saleh Aesthetic Clinic has taken a five-year lease for the 1,795 sq ft ground floor of the recently refurbished Grade II-listed building at a record rent for the town of £16/sq ft.

Mark Caldwell, chief executive of Bluemantle, commented: "We are pleased to have agreed this new deal which sets a new benchmark for the South Manchester office market. Smaller lettings such as these are fundamental in these difficult economic times and are just as important to Bluemantle as our larger strategic developments throughout the region. We have had significant interest in the remaining space at the Cheadle Institute and anticipate further lettings in the not too distant future."

Matthews & Goodman, Impey & Co and Berkeley Brown are joint letting agents on the Cheadle Institute, which totals 7,000 sq ft.
