Beaumont promoted to partner at Laytons

Commercial property specialist Claire Beaumont has been promoted to the position of partner with Manchester law firm Laytons Solicitors.

She has been with the firm since 2005 and is one of Manchester's best-known property lawyers, having chaired the Women in Property Northwest branch in 2011 and 2012.

She is also a founding organiser of the Manchester Property Forum an has expertise in all aspects of commercial property law, including property and landlord and tenant matters.

Christine Barker, managing partner at Laytons, said: "Recognising and developing talent is a key part of our growth strategy. We strongly believe in promoting from within and recognise the importance of rewarding people for the value they bring to the firm."
