Barnfield boss joins Regenerate board

Tim Webber, managing director of Barnfield Construction, has joined the board of Regenerate Pennine Lancashire.

He was one of three new private sector board members at the public-private organisation. Ian Brown of Blackburn wallpaper firm Graham & Brown, and Stephen Greenhalgh of Rossendale kitchen manufacturer JJO also joined the board. Chief executives from Pennine Lancashire's local authorities are also on the board.

In the past year Regenerate has been successful in bids worth £12m for the European Regional Development Fund and the Government's Regional Growth fund to help businesses start up and grow across the county.

Webber said: "I'm looking forward to being part of Regenerate's board, so that we can work towards making Pennine Lancashire a better place to live and work – something we feel very passionately about at Barnfield Construction."
