Autocab inks Circle Square deal
The Uber-owned software company has taken 20,000 sq ft on a 10-year lease at Bruntwood SciTech’s Manchester development, a deal first revealed by Place North West last October.
Autocab, which is relocating from Cheadle Royal Business Park, joins Hewlett Packard, Hilti and professional services firm Accenture at Circle Square.
Roku, Ofcom and Octopus Energy are also lined up to sign at the 1.2m sq ft complex.
Autocab’s move follows a 400% rise in revenues over the last five years, which culminated in the Uber takeover 12 months ago.
The company aims to create 200 new jobs at Circle Square
Safa Alkateb, chief executive of Autocab, said: “We have some exciting growth plans, but we can only realise them if we can attract the industry’s best established and emerging talent.
“Circle Square will be a real draw and aligns with our ethos to be able to create, innovate and network with like-minded businesses.

CBRE acted for Autocab. JLL, Knight Frank and Savills are the agents for Circle Square.

Such a good eco system around here and all the way up Oxford road now. From not much to one of the key areas of the city in less than 20 years. Fantastic.
