A distinctive four-storey block of flats will be built opposite Liverpool FC’s stadium on Walton Breck Road if a proposal by local developer Chris Farley goes ahead.
Designed by Liverpool-based practice Studio Attis, there would be 42 units above two ground-floor commercial spaces, one of 1,850 sq ft and another of 1,410 sq ft. The site is a cleared former petrol station on the corner of Burleigh Road South.
The scheme is set out in an L shape and at the fourth storey the building is set back from the street. The proposal is for nine one-bedroom and 33 two-bedroom apartments.
Private developer Farley created a special purpose vehicle, Anfield Developments, to bring the project forward.
The planning consultant is Zerum.
