Airport supplier Chevron expands in South Manchester

CBRE Investors has completed a deal with aviation maintenance firm Chevron Technical Services on a 34,000 sq ft letting at Sharston Industrial Estate.

Chevron signed a 10-year lease for an undisclosed rent at the estate, near Manchester Airport and 200 yards from the M56.

Neil Morris, managing director at Chevron, commented: "The newly refurbished building will add to Chevron's business capability for growth and enable Chevron to offer both a commercial archive document storage and logistical storage business for our clients, regulated to an aviation EASA standard."

Gareth Pierce, surveyor in the CB Richard Ellis North West Industrial Agency team, added: "This letting is a positive sign for the Manchester economy with a company upsizing its business premises to expand its business portfolio and provide additional services.

"Sharston presents Chevron with high quality out of town industrial space in an ideal location for fast, easy access to major transport links. It is a wise investment for this local business."
