Ainscough racks up housing consents

Ainscough Strategic Land has won outline planning approval for a new residential development in Tytherington, east Cheshire.

The consent allows for delivery of up to 166 units on a 17-acre site to the north of Macclesfield town centre.

Also this week, HOW helped ASL gain approval for a 2,500-unit urban extension on a 321-acre greenfield site near Hinkely in Leicestershire.

ASL is one of three developers involved with the scheme with Barwood Developments and Taylor Wimpey.

Gary Halman, partner at HOW Planning, said: "Ainscough Strategic Land is a longstanding client and we have previously helped to secure some fantastic schemes for them, but this has been a particularly good couple of days! Both developments are hugely important as they address the needs of the local communities, providing much needed housing supply in both areas."
