Maximus letting for AXA in Winsford

Manufacturer Tiger Trailers has signed a 10-year lease on Maximus, a 105,059 sq ft shed at Winsford Industrial Estate in Cheshire owned by AXA Real Estate Investment Management.

Tiger Trailers agreed to pay £3.75/sq ft for the modern distribution unit, located on the estate's Road One.

The newly-formed business will use the unit to manufacture and store trailers for heavy goods vehicles.

The industrial agency team at JLL advised AXA Real Estate.

Richard Johnson, associate director of industrial and logistics, at JLL, said: "As one of the last remaining high bay distribution sheds in the region, Maximus attracted a lot of recent interest. We had several serious parties looking at the unit with three offers on the table but Tiger Trailers' decisive approach meant they completed the lease within a few weeks to secure it for themselves."
