Lovell relocates to 8,500 sq ft Warrington office
The housebuilder, part of Morgan Sindall, has taken a 10-year lease at Daten Park in Birchwod with ambitions to continue growth.
This move marks a slight increase on the 7,300 sq ft letting at Lovell Homes’ previous base in Altrincham.
The company says the move to an 8,450 sq ft office between Liverpool and Manchester shows a commitment to the North West, putting it in a position to build key partnerships and develop regeneration projects.
Lovell and Daten Park were represented in the deal by Sixteen Real Estate.
Paul Challinor, managing director for Lovell in the North West, said: “Our new Warrington office is an important step in our growth plans to deliver more homes for communities across the North West, by placing us in a more centralised regional position where there is the potential to expand further in the future.
“We are keen to push forward in growing our land bank and moving into more open market sales under our Lovell Homes brand, as well as continuing to nurture our long-term partnerships in the region, working in collaboration with local authorities and organisations to ensure housing demands are met.”
He added: “As part of the Morgan Sindall Group we are very fortunate to have had our fellow group company Overbury completing the exceptional fit-out works at our new home and it is undoubtedly one of the very best office spaces in the region, promoting modern collaborative ways of working and the wellbeing of our team.”
“The new office supports our recent successful appointment to the £1.5bn Innovation Chain North (ICN) framework, with which we will be involved for the next four years.
“Our portfolio of work in the North West continues to grow from strength to strength, with several major regeneration sites currently underway, and a number of new schemes at various stages of progression.”
Miles Platting, a 15-year regeneration project between Lovell, Jigsaw, and Manchester City Council is set to complete this year.
Lovell’s Pendleton project in Salford is also entering its next phases and the company promises that there is more in the pipeline for transforming Liverpool and the Wirral in the coming year.
