Lancashire names winners on £300m framework
Conlon, Krol Corlett, and Robertson are among the 16 firms appointed to the county council’s Construction Partnering Framework.
Lancashire County Council’s £300m framework will run four years to be used for public building works. These works will cover civic, schools, and leisure facilities, as well as offices and landscaping.

The scope of the Construction Partnering Framework stretches new builds, extensions, adaptations, refurbishments, and reactive emergency works, to be procured on a partnering basis.
Public sector bodies such as Lancashire Constabulary and UCLAN will also be able to select contractors from the collaborative framework, which opened for tenders last December.
The authority received a total of 29 tenders for the framework, according to the contract-award notice.
The framework is split into four value bands, starting below £500,000 and going up to £50m.
W Carefoot & Sons and Conlon Construction picked up the highest acclaim for projects valued from £15m to £30m. For smaller projects of £3m to £15m, the pair are joined by Equans and John Turner Construction.

In the first lot, for projects up to £500,000 with a total value of £30m, the winners were:

In the second lot, with a contract value of between £500,000 and £3m and a total value of £60m, the selected contractors were:

- Greenmount Projects
- Krol Corlett Construction
- Warden Construction
Contractors selected for projects between £3m and £15m with a total value of £100m were:
- John Turner Construction
- Equans Regeneration
- W Carefoot & Sons
- Conlon Construction
For the highest value projects of between £15m and £30m with a total value of £60m, the winners were:
- W Carefoot & Sons
- Conlon Construction
