Kingsdean shops for apartment sites
Developer Kingsdean has sold all 14 apartments on completion of its £3.4m refurbishment of the upper floors of 118-124 Deansgate in Manchester.
Of the 14 sales, two were bought by a single investor as buy-to-lets, four were for second homes, seven were acquired by first-time buyers for occupation and one other for occupation by a non-first-time buyer. The prices ranged from £164,950 for a one-bed to £449,950 for three beds. More than 50% were cash buyers.
The residential development, named Manera, was delivered by Rowlinson Construction and architect Buttress Fuller Alsop Williams. The estate agent was Thornley Groves.
Bo Khan, director of Kingsdean, based in Poynton, said he was actively seeking new opportunities in Manchester city centre.
Kingsdean bought the upper floors of 118-124 Deansgate in 2009 from Town Centre Securities. The residential address is 46 King Street West, around the corner from the Deansgate retail entrance to the lower floors.
Very nice! Lovely building and just what would want to live in if lived in an apartment.
