Hat-trick of deals penned at Plantation Park
Two new tenants have taken a total of 18,000 sq ft at Mileway’s Merseyside industrial estate, while Abbey Logistics has renewed its 137,000 sq ft lease.
Community food hub charity Too Good to Waste has agreed to occupy 10,688 sq ft on a five-year lease and civil engineer DT Hughes has taken a two-year lease to occupy 7,392 sq ft.
The largest existing tenant at the site, Abbey Logistics, has signed up for an additional 10 years at Plantation Park, part of Wirral International Business Park in Bromborough.
Joint agents Legat Owen and B8 Real Estate acted for Mileway, which specialises in last mile logistics.
Located off Junction 5 of the M53, Plantation Park provides approximately 250,000 sq ft of warehousing and 10,000 sq ft of offices. Other occupiers at the wider Wirral International Business Park include Great Bear, Meyer Prestige and Cereal Partners.
Mileway has just completed the refurbishment of a further 39,296 sq ft at Plantation, which is now available to let.
David Deeley, senior asset manager at Mileway, said: “Bromborough continues to be an attractive business destination and Plantation Park complements our portfolio of high-quality assets in key locations.”
Mark Diaper, associate director at Legat Owen, added: “Wirral is proving to be well-established location for businesses. There is a limited supply of stock of this size in this area and we believe Mileway’s proactive decision to refurbish the remaining space will quickly be followed by a letting.”
