Spirits were high as the sun shone at Place’s annual summer shindig, which doubled up as GIA’s 10th anniversary celebration as well as acting as the de facto pre-gig gathering for Oasis’ Manchester reunion.

Place North West’s 2025 Summer Social saw more than 200 property folk gather at Impossible on Peter Street on Friday 11 July to toast the end of the first half of the year and enjoy the sunshine.
Sponsored by GIA, whose bucket hats were gratefully received and greedily stashed by those swept up in Oasis-mania or just seeking a bit of shade, the event brought together consultants of all stripes as well as developers, architects, funders, lawyers, and contractors, for food, drink, and good conversation.
