Eddisons July sale results
A residential investment in Wigan doubled its guide price at the latest Eddisons auction in Manchester, selling for £299,000.
The property on New Market Street is arranged as 11 self-contained flats and produces an annual income of £25,200. The guide price was £145,000.
A property on Greengate in Salford with lapsed planning consent for a mixed commercial and residential scheme sold for £250,000, while a vacant 3,500 sq ft office to the south of Blackpool town centre sold for £175,000.
A tenanted pub in the centre of Burnley, generating annual income of £35,000, went for £221,000.
In total, Eddisons said it generated proceeds of more than £8.6m at its July round of auctions, which included dates in London and Leeds as well as Manchester.
The average price paid for a lot was £157,500.
Tony Webber, director of Eddisons said: "This was a good performance with stock selling well in all categories."
Eddisons is now inviting instructions for its next North West sale on 16 September.
