Dudleys crosses the Pennines
The Leeds-based structural and civil engineering consultancy has opened an office in Prestwich, to be led by board director Paul Brownlow.
Dudleys has taken serviced office space at New Maxdov House off Bury New Road. There will be three team members based in the Prestwich office, with plans to expand staff numbers down the line.
While this is Dudley’s first foray into the Greater Manchester office market, the engineering firm has had multiple North West projects. These include multiple projects for supported living company Voyage Care in Burnley, Ellesmere Port, and Liverpool.
Dudleys is assisting on the latest phase of Logistics North and is also working in Leigh and Great Harwood on schemes for Home Bargains.
Dudleys managing director Andy Walker said he was pleased to open a North West office.
“Whilst we have served clients in the region for some years, our expanding portfolio now requires a more locally based team,” he said.
“We are optimistic about future business growth in the region and look forward to making our presence more widely known across the industry.”
Dudleys has reported a 10% increase in turnover last year, reaching £1.8m. The company said it is on track to achieve a £2.7m turnover by the end of 2025. The engineering company has a team of 25 and counts Leeds United and Leeds/Bradford Airport among its clients.
