Craigleith adds to investment team

Craig Mason has been hired by Craigleith Property Group as investment manager and will be based on Manchester’s King Street.

Mason has been appointed to the investment team from Blackmore Group.

Craigleith is an investment, development and finance business, focusing on residential and hotel projects.

In Manchester, the company has worked on deals with No1 Old Trafford developer Cole Waterhouse, Renaker and IP Global, and is currently advising on the delivery of more than 300 residential units in the city.

Mark Antscherl, chief executive of Craigleith, said: “It has been an exciting 12 months for Craigleith and we are ramping up the pace of development and investment.

“We represent several key investment groups and collectively we have well over £200m to invest in the UK over the next 12 months. Craig will be actively involved in sourcing opportunities across the UK, with a specific focus on the North West.

“Much of our success depends on identifying market opportunities and we will be looking to expand our reach in Leeds, Birmingham and London as well as adding to our strength in Manchester and Liverpool.”
