Construction firms compete for Salford Greengate work

A £12.5m contract to regenerate Salford's Greengate area is on offer from Salford City Council.
The successful bidder would be tasked with rejuvenating Greengate through work such as the construction of a new bridge across the River Irwell, pedestrian walkways, and urban art.
At least five bidders will be invited to tender for the two-year contract. All submissions must be made by July 21.
