Colliers CRE hires ex-DTZ director Barron
Rupert Barron, previously DTZ office agency director before being made redundant last month, has joined Colliers CRE in Manchester.
Barron will work alongside fellow director Stephanie Mullenger "to strengthen the firm's growing office agency offering".
Barron said: "Joining Colliers CRE, a top ten agency with a great reputation and a broad range of expert services, was my favoured option following my departure from DTZ."
Colliers' current office instructions include advising Canadian out-sourcing giant Minacs on the Manchester search for its new European base.
Mullenger added: "Rupert's vast experience and market knowledge will allow us to greatly develop and enhance our office agency offering and, we are confident that utilising our combined experience will enable us to provide comprehensive advice to clients on major development and regeneration projects across the region."
Barron joined DTZ following the firm's merger with Donaldsons in 2007. He was previously head of property consultants Knight Frank in Manchester before joining Chesterton. He left Chesterton before its demise in 2002 and joined rivals Donaldsons in Manchester as agency director.
