A 13-bedroom student house and a former care home ready to be converted into private houses are amongst the lots in Edward Mellor's July auction catalogue.

There will be 94 commercial and residential properties from across Greater Manchester, Cheshire for sale on Tuesday 23 July at Lancashire County Cricket Club, with guide prices ranging from £13,000 to £575,000.

Highlights include a former doctor's surgery on Bury Old Road, Prestwich, which was converted into student housing with 13 bedrooms and priced at £275,000.

The former Partington Care Home in North Road, Glossop, has planning permission for the buyer to transform the site into five large residential houses and, guided at £550,000, could offer a substantial profit to the right developer.

Bidding begins from 2pm, with doors opening for registration at 1pm.
