Ainscough Crane Hire names new MD

Ainscough Crane Hire has appointed Robin Richardson as its new managing director, replacing Neil Partridge who is retiring.

Richardson joins the business from Aggreko, the generator rental company where he was managing director for Northern Europe. Prior Aggreko he worked at Avery Weigh-Tronix, supplier of industrial weighing machines.

Partridge said: "I have enjoyed my time within the business and over the course of the last 18 years have formed some strong alliances and relationships with both customers and employees. I am pleased someone of Robin's experience and background is taking on the role, and I wish Robin and the team at Ainscough every success for the future."

Richardson added: "Ainscough is a fantastic business with a strong brand and market presence. I am both pleased and proud to be taking on the challenge and look forward to working with the team as we embark on the next exciting phase of our story."
