ADT appoints commercial manager
The interior design specialist has recruited former Bruntwood executive George Tilbury to manage its relationships with developers and landlords.
Tilbury has been appointed as commercial manager at ADT Workplace, which carried out the £4m refurbishment of Manchester’s Sunlight House in 2018 on behalf of landlord Aberdeen Standard Investments. He has spent the last six years as a surveyor at developer Bruntwood.
At ADT, Tilbury has taken up a new role within the company, created specifically to draw on his experience dealing with landlords and developers during his time with the developer landlord.
He is based out of ADT’s Middleton office.
Tilbury said: “ADT is well known in the industry for delivering fantastic workplaces for companies of all sizes, including many leading names.
“I’m hoping to use my experience to bring a different dynamic to the business to support the team in the next stages of its business growth plan.”
David Clemetson, co-founder at ADT Workplace, said: “George’s experience working for a landlord-developer will complement the skills and knowledge of our existing team as we continue to move forward with our business progression plans post Covid-19.”
ADT Workplace, founded in 2004, completed the design and refurbishment of Interactive Investor’s Deansgate headquarters last year.
