Muse expands development team
The company has appointed Maggie Grogan, former development lead at DeTrafford, as senior development surveyor in the North West team.
Based in Muse Developments’ Manchester office, Grogan will work across the developer’s growing portfolio of schemes across the region, which include the regeneration of Birkenhead town centre, Time Square in Warrington, Chester’s One City Place and New Victoria in Manchester.
In particular, she will work to bring public and private sector partners together to drive economic and social growth.
Prior to her appointment at Muse, Grogan was development lead at DeTrafford, a developer that is building projects in Manchester such as the £94m Gallery Gardens scheme on Chester Road. Grogan left the company in April.
Before that, she was development manager at PRS operator Vita Group, and, earlier, she worked as development manager for the now-collapsed contractor Carillion Group for seven years.
Phil Mayall, regional director at Muse, said: “Maggie…will add her considerable experience to our growing portfolio of schemes across the region.
“We have been focused on delivering our schemes safely and in line with government guidance, while making sure that we’re primed and ready for the road ahead.
“The country’s economic recovery will come from our towns and cities and we’re working hard to support our partners to help them achieve their regeneration aspirations.”
Grogan added: “I’m excited to join a developer like Muse, which has a long track record of delivering schemes that are both innovative in design and have real purpose to benefit communities.
“Muse has a strong pipeline of exciting projects across the region and I’m looking forward to the challenge as we kick on in the second half of the year.”
