Pattern House topping out next week
A ceremony to mark the building within Urban Splash's Longlands development in Stalybridge reaching its highest point is being held on Friday 21 January.
The Manchester and Liverpool based developer was due to mark the occasion at the end of last year but had to cancel due to severe weather conditions.
Chairman of Urban Splash, Tom Bloxham, will be joined by Jonathan Reynolds, MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, Carl Moore, area manager in the Greater Manchester team from the Homes & Communities Agency and Cllr Kieran Quinn, executive leader at Tameside Council for the ceremony.
Pattern House will offer new one and two bedroom apartments and is expected to be completed for occupation in the middle of 2011.
Urban Splash is working with architect Space Craft to deliver Pattern House which is the second building within its Longlands development in the Tameside area.
In July 2008, Urban Splash finished its £10m renovation of Longlands Mill, alongside the Huddersfield canal and River Tame.
Longlands will provide 103 new homes when fully completed.
