VIDEO | What is the state of play for smart buildings?

Building tech innovator eco-i and architect and engineering firm BDP have teamed up to discuss how technology is changing the way we develop, design, and operate properties.

David Hodges, director of eco-i, and Robert Ferry, principal at BDP, gathered at the BDP office in Manchester to discuss the state of play for smart buildings. What are the major innovations coming down the pipeline? How can tech-integrated buildings improve functionality for tenants?

Those questions, and more, are answered in the short and informative video interview at the top of this article. Can’t see the video? You can also watch the interview on the Place North West YouTube channel.
