Jane Yates, general manager for Liverpool at Bruntwood, introduced guests to the building and outlined Bruntwood’s distinctive approach to customer service.

She was joined by Colin Sinclair, director of property marketing, who told the audience about the company’s progress in Liverpool and the current state of the market.

Move for Free with BruntwoodBruntwood also recently launched a Move for Free campaign , Sinclair said, to help start-ups and SMEs with free office design, removal and IT set-up. Cotton Exchange’s USP is its fibre connectivity, with a powerful superfast 100Gbps transatlantic connection coming straight to the premises from its arrival in the country out of the sea at Southport.

Guests enjoyed refreshments and networking and a fascinating tour of the basements including cotton store rooms and the original maps of Liverpool city centre – full of terraced residential streets – from the time of the building’s inception, and the former registry office space vacated by Liverpool City Council and now set to become a large groundfloor office space with its own square off Old Hall Street.
