Morton returns to AFL as Walsh moves on
AFL Architects has announced the departure of director Sheldon Walsh, while semi-retired former managing director Martin Morton has returned to the practice full time for an interim period.
Walsh has led the AFL healthcare team since 2013. AFL said its board has begun a process to appoint a successor and a further announcement will be made in due course. AFL declined to comment on where Walsh had moved to.
Morton was previously healthcare director as well as managing director before his partial retirement in 2017. He has since been working for AFL in a consultancy role.
Director Garry Rowlands will work alongside Morton.
Rowlands said: “On behalf of the board, we would like to thank Sheldon for his work and wish him every success in the future.”
AFL will continue to be led by directors Garry Rowlands, John Roberts, Phil Osborne, Stephen Stock and Martin Morton in a consultancy role.
