Architects needed for listed Liverpool building

The Florence Institute Trust has published a tender for a construction and architectural contract for the refurbishment of the Grade II-listed Florence Institute in Liverpool.

The charitable trust is also seeking structural engineer and mechanical and electrical design services, as well as project managers to form part of framework agreement.

The aim is to redevelop the listed building into beneficial community use.

The two-year contract will commence in January next year. Deadline for submitting tenders is Friday 20 November.

The building, known as 'The Florrie', is a local landmark on Mill Street in Dingle, Liverpool, which was built originally in the 1800s.
